Mar 12, 2010

Yesterday I began a list of healing virtues of Turmeric and today I am adding the next section to fill you in on more reason why Turmeric should be in your kitchen spice rack and as capsules to take daily.

Turmeric has a reputation of benefiting Cancer patients in several ways:

It has been shown to inhibit prostate cancer from growing any further
and has actually had an effect on preventing prostate cancer.

Studies in lab mice have revealed that it has the ability to prevent the spreading of breast cancer to the lungs.

Continual studies are showing that Turmeric has positive effects on multiple myeloma.

Studies also are showing it has had positive effects on pancreatic cancer.

May prevent melanoma and cause existing melanoma cells to self- destruct.

Not only can it reduce the side effects of the chemo drug paclitaxel, but it also helps to increase its ability to work more efficiently.

Researchers believe that Turmeric actually can reduce the risk of childhood leukemia.

Turmeric has been found to naturally inhibit the cox-2 cancer

May prevent metastases from occurring in many different forms of cancer.
