Orange Dressing Recipe with Sesame Seeds
Friday
Nov 13, 2009
This is an orange/sesame/mustard dressing that is safe for Diabetics and delicious. Often we think if a recipe is for a diabetes sufferer it won’t have the flavor, but that’s not true. Try this…
Orange/Sesame Dressing
Ingredients
1/2 cup orange juice (about 2 large oranges)
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp Mustard, Asian
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 medium garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp canola oil
1 tsp sesame oil
Directions
1 Whisk together orange juice, vinegar, sesame seeds, hot mustard, sugar, salt, and garlic.
2 Slowly whisk in canola and sesame oils.
Additional Information
Try this dressing tossed with fresh baby spinach.
PS I might try a different oil as I don’t really care for canola oil.
