Chemicals and pesticides are a threat to the male hormone system.
A report just released by the National Research Council shows that chemicals are mucking up the male hormone system. These chemicals can be found in hundreds of products.
The main chemical culprit (though there are other chemicals pesticides involved too) is phthalates.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and independent scientists, phthalates can be found virtually in everyone including pregnant women and babies.
Sarah Janssen of the National Resources Defense Council, an environmental group says… “We’re exposed to a complex soup of chemicals. It’s a warning we can’t ignore.”.
fta:Animal and human studies link all of these chemicals to a wide spectrum of problems, from reduced sperm counts to genital malformations. Scientists are also studying the chemicals’ link to testicular cancer and other problems, the report says.
